Tour Plan
4:30hrs. We depart Cusco and travel in a private bus for the next two hours to Mollepata (2790msnm), on the way we will notice how the landscape changes, as we pass through Poroy and Limatambo. and descend to a lower altitude.
We make a brief stop and have breakfast. We continue our trip to Soraypampa (3910msnm) from where we will start our walk to the enigmatic lake of Humantay for the next 2 hours. Once there we will have the opportunity to enjoy the scenery, thrive in the energy of the place and be filled with awe at the sight of the vividness of the tones of the lake.
On our way back to Soraypampa, we enjoy views of the Salkantay peak, second highest peak in the region of Cusco (6271msnm) and have lunch there.
Then we get on our bus and head back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 17:30hrs.
